Thousands throng Sinulog 2026 fluvial procession

Thousands of Catholics gathered along the shores as the vessel carrying the revered image of the Sto. Niño made its way through the Mactan Channel, accompanied by hundreds of colorfully decorated boats sailing in solemn devotion toward the Cebu City pier. The annual fluvial procession once again became a powerful display of faith, unity, and tradition, as devotees offered prayers, waved banners, and joined in hymns while witnessing the sacred journey on the waters.

The historic event drew crowds from different parts of the country, turning the channel into a moving sea of devotion and celebration.
